im having a problem with the console in fallout 3. the tildie key does not bring up the console on my laptop?

i have no infared dedvices, and im not on a british machine. does anyone have anything more that can help me? or like oblivion do i need a third party mod to get it to work? if so can someone send me a link.

Try opening the registry editor:

Find entry:

OverrideKeyboardSubtype with a DWORD value of 2. Change it to 0, exit, and reboot. Try again.
