Have you ever thought that we are copying technology from another alien race that our government knows of?

No flaming =].

Anyways, our technology has made a great leap in the past 100 years, and doesn’t it kind of strike you that we went from… Horse and carriage, to going to the moon? And calling people on devices, to having an ultimate knowledge base accessible by anyone (The internet, knowing there’s alot of fake shit out there)

Or is this just a coincidence in time?

the discovery of quantum mechanics accounts for a large fraction of our recent technological advances. I would’ve thought that if we were copying technology, we wouldn’t necessarily understand how the devices worked… but we do.

Lancashire boasts two of the UK’s favorite theme parks: Camelot Theme Park and Pleasure Beach, Blackpool. While Camelot is geared toward tamer adventures than Pleasure Beach, it has its share of thrill rides that are worth trying.

The Whirlwind at Camelot Theme Park in U.K experience is very much as its name describes. Sitting back to back with three other riders in your spinning carriage, you zip along the track, for the thrill of zooming and twirling at the same time. You must be at least 1.2 metres tall to ride.

Excalibur 2 is another ride at Camelot Theme Park. It is one of those rides that resembles an egg beater turned upside down. A spinning carriage rises higher and higher in the air, fraying your nerves and making your heart leap. The minimum height to ride Excalibur 2 is 1.4 metres.

The Galleon Ships at Camelot Theme Park are giant swinging boats that are guaranteed to thrill. Riders must be at least 1 metre tall to ride. For the smaller children, the Junior Galleon ride is perfect. For this ride, riders must be less than 1.4 metres in height to ride.

The Rack is a tortuous ride at Camelot Theme Park that is on split levels. It gives you a bird’s eye view of the park and well beyond. The only question is whether you can keep your eyes open while you ride. You have to be at least 1.2 metres tall to ride The Rack.

At Blackpool, the Pepsi Max Big One cost £12 million and opened in 1994. It is one of the tallest, fastest coasters in Europe. Rising to 235 feet high, reaching speeds of 85 mph, this is a true thrill ride.

Ice Blast In 1997, the IceBlast opened. On this ride, riders are catapulted up a 210-ft tower at a speed of 80 mph before experiencing a free fall descent. The 2004 ride Bling opened where riders are lifted 100 feet above the ground and spun on large gondolas in three different directions that cause riders to feel the pull of 2.5 g’s.

Perhaps the most incredible ride at Blackpool, however is Infusion, a suspended looping roller coaster that maneuvers through fountains, jets, and right next to a gushing waterfall. It is definitely not for the timid.
