Home Knitting

Girly girl who stays at home, knits, and doesn’t drink vs. intelligent, plays sports, and likes to socialize?
What is more attractive to guys? I am the latter, although I come off as a girly girl, I play sports (mostly soccer and golf), I workout, and I have a lot of education. The guy I am seeing made some comments about how most women don’t do this stuff and it hurt me, that’s my happiness and it made me feel so unattractive!
His friend is married to a girl who never comes out for drinks, stays at home and is into knitting, sewing, pottery, etc. She is my age but seems so much older!! I can’t do this to my life, it’s not my happiness…. do most guys prefer this kind of girl? Is this what you have to be like if you ever want to get married?
This stuff makes me who I am, I wouldn’t change it for anyone… if I did I wouldn’t be the same person. Just wondering if this is why I am not in a serious relationship…… Any thoughts?
Guys can sometimes make comments us girls find offensive. It’s not because they’re trying to be hurtful. They just don’t think about how we take things that are said differently than they do.
For example, when some friends of mine and my boyfriend’s got married in April, a lot of people there kept asking my boyfriend when we planned on tying the knot (which is extremely rude to me). His answer to everyone was a laugh and saying a variation of “no time soon” and “hell no” which really hurt me as we’ve been dating for over a year and have seriously talked about marriage many times before. He could’ve said something more like “maybe one day” or something less…. offensive. I explained to him later that day how his comments made me feel and he apologized saying he was a guy and he wasn’t thinking about what he was saying. Believe it or not, I believed him because I used to be one of the guys with some people I used to hang out with and I know how they can get when trying to act all macho and manly-man when inside they can be just as emotional as us.
I wouldn’t take his comment to heart. Just explain to him how what he said hurt your feelings as you enjoy your hobbies. I would be upset if my boyfriend had something like that to me because I, like you, am a pretty sporty girl and would never be caught at home knitting when I had the chance to go out and have a few drinks with the crew! Just talk to him.

Knitting looms that are available in to days market come in various shapes and sizes, these including oval, round and rectangular. There are also looms that you can buy that are shaped like butterfly, this design is helpful in creating knots and crochets. Some manufacturers have made fun filled looms which glow in the dark. You would find these knitting looms helpful if you wanted to work in a dimly lit room.

Rectangle knitting looms are good for creating scarves, Afghans, and other large projects. This loom has a single rake and it is easy to work with. If you buy a set of these, you will also get a pick and hook tool and the necessary instructions.
