why does my boxer act aggressive with only me outside?

he does not respect me outside.when i go off the porch he becomes bipolar.he jumps on me while barking at me.this happens while working in the yard or walking around.he will not do this to anyone else but me.if i use garden tools, he attacks them. this a.m. i left him inside so i could plant 2 trees in peace. when i finished he was allowed to go outside. i was inside for about 30-40 min.& thought he was too quiet. i found out why, he mangled the 2 trees i planted. i’m seriously considering getting a dog trainers help. my boyfriend states my 15 mo.old boxer is very smart & is alpha on me.how do i become the master again?

Your pup isn’t bi-polar, he’s a puppy.

Exercise this animal more, wear him out. Teach him how to behave, let him know that jumping and tree-killing is unacceptable behavior, and he will listen to you.

You also need to remember that 15 months until 18 months is considered the “teenage” stage of a dogs life, especially males. They tend to rebel against the set in rules that you’ve laid out for them, so this may also be to blame for your dogs silly behaviors.

By all means you should consult a trainer if you don’t feel like you can handle the situation yourself, but take steps to see if you can before lining other peoples pockets.

The term appetite is the normal desire to eat food, commonly felt as hunger. The Appetite exists in every higher life form, and it serves to adjust adequate energy intake for maintaining the metabolic needs. It is synchronized by the close interplay among the adipose tissue, digestive tract, and the brain. The Decreased desire to have or eat is termed as the anorexia, while the polyphagia is increased eating. The Deregulation of the appetite add to the anorexia nervosa, cachexia, or oppositely to the overeating. The guideline of the appetite has become the subject of a large amount of research in the previous decade. The Breakthroughs included the detection, in the year 1995, of the leptin, the hormone that has appeared to offer negative reaction. Afterward studies showed that the appetite regulation is immensely multifaceted process connecting the many hormones, gastrointestinal tract, and in cooperation the autonomic nervous system and central. Hypothalamus, the part of brain is the major regulatory organ of our appetite.

The neuron which regulates the appetite appears to be the main serotonergic, even though Agouti-related peptide (AGRP) and neuropeptide Y (NPY) and in addition play the vital role. The hypothalamolimbic and Hypothalamocortical projections contribute on the awareness of our hunger and the somatic procedure controlled by hypothalamus comprise vagal tone “the action of autonomic nervous system and the parasympathic”, inspiration of thyroid “thyroxin control the metabolic velocity,

The hypothalamus senses the external stimuli mostly through the number of hormones as ghrelin, leptin; cholecystokinin and PYY 3-36, the orexin and; all modify the hypothalamic response. They are formed by the digestive zone and by the adipose tissue. All the Systemic mediators, as the tumor necrosis aspect alpha, interleukins 2 and 6 corticotrophin-releasing hormone influence the appetite negatively; all this mechanism explains why sick people often consume less.
In calculation, the biological clock that is regulated by pothalamus modifies our hunger. The Processes from all other cerebral loci, as from limbic system and cerebral cortex, scheme on hypothalamus and also modify appetite. Thus, this explains why clinical depression and energy intake be capable of change quite radically.
Various Mechanisms controlling the appetite are potential target for the weight loss drugs. Early anorectics are phentermine and fenfluramine. In more recent calculation is sibutramine which increase the serotonin and the noradrenaline stage in the central nervous system. In accumulation, the recent reports on the recombinant PYY 3-36 propose that this mediator might contribute to the weight loss by the suppressing appetite. The epidemic scopes of the obesity in the world, expansion in this area are expected to grow quickly in the near future, since dieting alone is the ineffective in the majority obese adults.
