what fabric do i use for Embroidery?

im 16 and i have decided to take up Embroidery, but i have no idea what tread and most of all fabric to use

A chrysanthemum on flow-y fabric may have to be done with fewer strands of floss than you would normally need.

Test the stitches first. Use a wash away stabilizer (sold for machine embroidery) under the area to be embroidered to help stabilize it.

You can pretty much use any fabric if certain consideration it taken.
